Does this replace my smoke alarm or CO alarm?

No. AirWise is an extra layer, not a replacement. Keep your existing alarms installed and tested — this sits alongside them.

Then what does it do that my alarm doesn't?

It shows you the number. Under the CO alarm standard, an alarm is required not to sound below 30 ppm — for up to 30 days. That's deliberate, and it's sensible design. But it means your alarm tells you when there's an emergency, and nothing at all on any other day.

Does it need wifi or an app?

Where should I put it?
